BEND THE RULES

Cross-pollinating between figuration and abstraction, my paintings and sculptures evidence a process of material discovery and a challenge of one’s perceptions. My curving metalworks create a distortion of reality and how I am viewed as a gender non-conforming subject. This painted worldview addresses the industrial sublime, technological transformation, the environmental Zeitgeist, and my body’s placement within these circumstances.
